At least if the operators of the planned restaurant of the future in Germany will follow through with their plan. This already famous restauramt is going to be built in the Europa-Park in Rust in 2022. There the owners want to combine culinary enjoyment with the excitement of a roller coaster. You can not see much at the moment, but that should change soon. The shareholders of the Europa-Park, Thomas Mack and Oliver Altherr, managing director of Marché International, have planned a special kind of gastronomic experience. The name will be Eatrenalin.
The operators want to combine a ride, a virtual reality experience and food under one roof. The new gastronomy concept intends to open up new worlds of taste for the guests. The gastronomy expert Oliver Altherr receives support from the shareholder of the Europa-Park Thomas Mack. The two have set themselves to use Eatrenalin to present an experience that people have never seen before. Technology, media technology, culinary art, creative content and a driving system should ensure that the guests can experience a two-hour journey through different worlds of taste. But how does this unusual mix look in reality?
A Culinary Journey through the World
In any case, the guests will not sit on a roller coaster and eat, as the operators have already explained. Such a concept would also be challenging to implement. In that case, the food would probably fly across the park. According to the speakers, visitors of the restaurant would sit in an armchair and at a table which could move. You take a journey through different rooms, which are supposed to increase the enjoyment of food even more. That should produce different scenarios depending on the course. The operators have not revealed more so far.
But the name Eatrenalin already suggests that there is much more to come. After all, the Europa-Park in Rust is known for its spectacular attractions. The experience that awaits the guests in the restaurant should, in any case, be exciting and different from anything experienced prebiously. It is supposed to be the world first in this area as declared by the operators. They want to reinvent gastronomy and touch their guests emotionally. In addition, they would like to take visitors on a futuristic journey into various world. These should not only appeal to our senses but also amaze us. For this purpose, all means are used, which gastronomy and technology provide. That is why specialists from the ride are working on the implementation and they have already found a highly skilled chef. It is the two Michelin star chef Peter Hagen-Wiest. The restaurant will open in 2022. The location is in Europa-Park between Hotel Krønasår and the virtual reality experience Yullbe. But the development does not end there. If the operators succeed with the restaurant in Rust, other new concept locations will follow in New York and Shanghai. Here, investors should have the opportunity to invest in an idea of the future that excites visitors with low-maintenance and user-friendly systems as well as an innovative and individualized meal concept.
